's gained credibility for not embarking on any extravagant campaigns, but rather promoting simpler, sustainable living – which she incorporates into her website, Goop
, a weekly lifestyle journal.
If you're pale and blonde, you should make absolutely sure to always define one feature very well, or you might blend in with the wall behind you. Lining your eyes, tinting/filling in your eyebrows, or slapping a berry shade on your lips will enhance a feature and guarantee you'll get noticed.
Freckles and blemishes show up quite prominently on pale skin
. If you want them covered, opt for a medium cover foundation and blend until you're happy with the coverage. If your skin type is oil-prone, choose a compact powder, but if you skin type falls towards the drier side, go for a liquid or cream consistency.
Choose a peach or pink blush, and apply to the apples of your cheeks. This look does not call for bronzer, but you can use dabs of highlighter on cheekbones, brow bones, and you can even finish off the entire look with a light dusting of highlighter powder if you don't have oily skin.
Use a black kohl liner for a defined, yet soft line on the upper and the outer half of the lower lash line. I would advise against lining the waterline (inner rim) to avoid a 'closed eye' appearance. Follow with accents of dark blue or silver eyeliner on the inner half of the lower lashes, and be sure to blend where the two colours meet. Round off the eyes with some silver or grey eye shadow, then add a few slicks of midnight blue or black mascara.
Line the entire lip with a nude peach/nude pink pencil, and follow with gloss for long lasting, low maintenance lips.
