For sensual, romantic eyes, I love a midnight blue smoky eye. It works on all colour eyes from brown to blue, and any skin tone.
Use a cream or champagne colour highlighter, like Color Intrigue Eye Shadow Duo in Golden Moss, spreading across your whole lid and on your brow bone. This is going to give us a lift of the eye. Take a midnight blue (I use Color Intrigue Eye Shadow Duo in Blue Smoke) and brush it over your lid, concentrating most on the outer corner of your eye. You can make this as light or as dark as you want. Use a midnight blue pencil (Smoky Eyes Powder Pencil in Midnight) and line both the top lid, against the lash line, and underneath the eye. Use a cotton bud and blend the pencil under your eye to give it a smoky eye finish. If you'd like, at this point you can use a black pencil (try Smoky Eyes Powder Pencil in Smoky Black) to line the inside of your eye. It definitely contributes to a more sassy and sexy look. For small eyes rather use a white pencil, which will open your eyes up.
And last, but definitely not least, coat your lashes to the max! Extend and lengthen to finish off this fabulous eye with Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Lash Extending Treatment Mascara in Black.
For beautiful lips... if you're going with the smoky eye, a stained lip will be perfect. Take a pink or peach colour lipstick, such as Ceramide Ultra Lipstick in Peony, and coat your lips very, very lightly. Use your finger to tap lightly onto your lips, until you find that you can barely see that you wearing lipstick and the colour looks like your natural lip colour, only enhanced by the peach or pink. For a gloss effect, use Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant over the stained lip.
Don’t forget an application of colour to the apples of your cheeks – smile and apply Ceramide Cream Blush in Nectar.
Between Wednesday 1 February and Sunday 12 February 2012, can win all of the products mentioned by Gina Myers!
