Candice Swanepoel has appeared in so many magazines we thought it only fitting to show you how to get her sultry look.
HAIR
The Victoria's Secret look is all about big, sexy hair. To pull it off, start in the shower or bath by using something like
L'Oreal Elvive Volume Collagen Shampoo and Conditioner,
R37 for 200ml each. You can then use a bit of volumising mousse on your roots and blow-dry your hair upside down before brushing it into a side path. If you still want to lift up your roots even further, given them a blasting of
Batiste Dry Shampoo,
R35.
When it comes to giving your hair a bit of a wave, spritz it with a curl-enhancing product like
ghd Style Curl Hold Spray,
R195. (We especially like ghd's curl enhancer because it protects your hair from heat damage too!) Next, wrap sections of it around the barrel of a curling iron. When you've created a few loose waves, relax them even further by brushing them out.
MAKE-UP
FACE
To create a glowing complexion, look out for an illuminating foundation or simply make your own by adding a liquid highlighter like
Yardley Radiant Glo illuminator,
R99.95, to any liquid foundation, instantly transforming it into a gorgeous skin perfecting glow potion. If you still need a little more coverage under your eyes or for any spots, zap them with a little concealer and then mattify your T-section with a blotting powder like
Clarins Shine Stopper powder compact,
R395. Glowy-looking skin is divine, but an oily T-section is not.
EYES
Start by using a black fine-tipped liquid eye liner, something like
Empro Black Diamond liquid eye liner,
R119, (exclusive to Dream Nails Salons) to draw a line across the top of your eyelid, extending it outwards to create a slight cat-eye effect. Next, apply a pale silver-coloured cream eye shadow on your entire eyelid. Extend this up and outwards to further emphasise the 'cat eye' effect and be sure to blend it into the corner of your eyes too. This will have an immediate 'eye brightening' effect that can hide any signs of fatigue. Finish up with a slick of volumising and lengthening mascara like
The Body Shop Double Intensity Mascara,
R99.
CHEEKS
Compliment your cheeks with a pretty rose-coloured blush before adding a bit of warmth by sweeping over your colour pop with a little something like
Physician's Formula Cashmere Wear Ultra-Smoothing Bronzer,
R180.
LIPS
The finishing touch to your sexy catwalk-ready look? A little pearlescent nude-coloured lip gloss. We like
L'Oreal Colour Riche Le Gloss Lipgloss in Nude Touch,
R99.95; it's non-sticky and has a sweet vanilla taste. You can also use a dash of
Yardley's illuminator once more to highlight your cupid's bow.
