Luminous Vitality: part 4With the millions of make-up products and brands available today it’s easy to create the radiant glow and flawless finish every girl wants. We raided our beauty cupboard and put together a selection of products you could use to create that luminous look.

Foundations

From liquid and powder to mineral and treatment foundations, the options are near endless. We love SENSAI’s SPF 15 Fluid Finish Lasting Velvet, R450, Yardley’s Oatmeal Light Cover Foundation, R64,95, Max Factor’s Second Skin Foundation, R179,95 and Clarins’ Skin Illusion Natural Radiance Foundation, R335.

The compact foundations we’ve found are great (whether they’re powder or mineral) are: Revlon’s Colorstay Aqua Mineral Makeup, R210 and Age Defying Powder Foundation, R225, as well as Almay’s Smart Shade Smart Balance Skin Balancing Pressed Powder, R160. In terms of treatments foundations, try Dermalogica’s Treatment Foundation, R485.

If you haven’t yet found your go-to foundation, there are also tinted moisturisers, which offer just a great cover. Try, Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturiser SPF 15, R320.

Bronzers and illuminators

Once you have created the flawless finish your canvas is now ready. Add a sweep of bronzer or an illuminator to highlight features like your cheekbones and brow bones.   1. Absolutely love bronzing powder! I use the Yardley Stayfast foundation. Best one for my skin type. Also affordable and offers great coverage! BB creams are also good. Garnier’s works best for me. Smells lovely too.

  2. I tend to steer away from Liquid Foundations, they just dont seem to work on my skin. I use Mineral Powder foundation from Avon
