Trending TrainingWhen it comes to training programmes and weight loss exercises, there is certainly no shortage on options out there. From group training to outdoor programs and dance classes; any person can find the ideal programme to get into shape and shred some kilos.

Zumba fitness

Zumba is one of the latest and most popular cardio programmes, Latin-inspired and very energetic. Being such an exciting and challenging workout and dance routine, many fitness celebrities and Hollywood stars are following suit. Zumba is said to be the latest fitness craze and it made an impression – it has grown to become the world's largest dance fitness programme with more than 14 million people taking weekly Zumba classes in over 140,000 locations across more than 150 countries.

Corporate wellness programmes

Not sounding too exciting, corporate wellness programmes are significantly increasing all over the globe and this is largely due to the increasing costs of employee absenteeism and health insurance, which has a very negative impact on any company's bottom-line. Many companies have started health promotion programmes to encourage a healthier workforce.

Core training and functional fitness

As people get older, they start to appreciate the value of core fitness; especially it can prevent illness and injury. Functional fitness will help you to live a longer, active life and will allow you to do activities such as climbing stairs and playing with your grandchildren with ease. Functional fitness has become a priority, especially in older individuals and this programme holds many benefits.

Hot yoga

Hot yoga is a trend that continues to be popular amongst exercisers who are looking to enjoy the complete mind, body, and spirit benefits that yoga, combined with a heated studio, can offer. It is a trend has quickly gained popularity amongst female exercise enthusiasts all over the globe. Typical classes are 90 minutes long and are practiced all over the world.

Express workouts

With our modern life being so challenging and always rushed, people want their workouts to be fast, easy, and effective. Many group exercise classes and strength training circuits provide 30-minute express-style options, which not only help you achieve your health and wellness goals, but are also great for the beginner exerciser. Virgin Active gyms offer new Twentyfour high intensity interval training classes made up of 24 moves in 24 minutes.

With so many options to choose from, you can easily find a programme or routine that fits in perfectly with your lifestyle. You can even combine these options to ramp up your fitness training and challenge yourself. Fitness training can be adjusted to suit any individual, regardless of your age, fitness level, physical condition or any other challenges you may face. Combined with a healthy diet programme, you will see those kilos melt off in no time!

I love yoga so much, hot yoga is great because you have that added advantage of the heat loosening up your muscles so you can really give yourself that extra push.
