HIV/Aids is already a complex topic most people don't want to talk about. And although you need to be informed, facts and figures and stats and reports simply complicate the matter further. We've broken the latest global news down for you in our infographic.

It may seem that the global fight against Aids is making headway. But we've still got a long way to go before we can say we've beaten the epidemic.

I really thight the statics were overinflated - I mean, I didn't know anyone personally who was infected - until I got the news that my mom was infected. It's alot easier to ignore when it doesn't involve you

sad and true, lets all accept people affected by this disease and treat them as equals and lets educate ourselves on how best we can support them.

The current statistics are horrific and very sad. Education needs to be ongoing. I agree it is a complex topic, but a topic that should be discussed in the open
